Heritage Textiles Corsets Collection
The Heritage Textiles Collection is an evolving archive of historical decorative textiles reinterpreted through Corsettery’s couture corsetry.
At its core, the collection explores antique carpets, embroidered garments, archival woven fabrics, and ornamental textile traditions as living sources of visual language. Each piece begins as a fragment of textile history and is transformed into a sculptural, made-to-measure corset.
Rather than presenting a fixed set of designs, the Heritage Textiles Collection functions as a growing archive. New works will continue to be added over time, expanding the collection into a curated study of woven heritage from different regions and textile traditions.
Each corset preserves the aesthetic memory of its source material — whether a carpet, a ceremonial fabric, or a historic woven pattern — and reinterprets it through contemporary craftsmanship.
The collection is not defined by geography or period, but by a shared language of ornament, material culture, and textile artistry.
