L’era edoardiana (1901-1910) fu un periodo di decadenza e opulenza, e i corsetti non facevano eccezione. Erano spesso impreziositi da pizzi e nastri ed erano progettati per essere estremamente rigidi e strutturati. Questi corsetti erano più comodi delle loro controparti in raso, ma erano comunque progettati per essere abbastanza strutturati e aderenti.
Il periodo Tudor (1485-1603) fu un periodo di grandi cambiamenti nella moda e i corsetti non fecero eccezione. Durante questo periodo, i corsetti divennero sempre più popolari e spesso erano realizzati con tessuti lussuosi come velluto e raso. Tuttavia, il cotone era preferito anche per le sue qualità leggere e traspiranti.
